Secure email

Sending unencrypted emails is the digital equivalent of sending your corporate communications on postcards that can be read by anyone through whose hands they pass en route to their final destination.

Whenever you need to send confidential information such as contracts, technical specifications or reports on members of staff, make sure this information stays private by using an encryption system to ensure your message is not seen by anyone other than its intended recipients.

In an asymmetric encryption system (also known as a public key encryption system) like the one provided by Cryptolog, there is no need for the sender and the recipient to share a secret code to decrypt the data, which would normally have to be done through a secure channel such as a face-to-face meeting. Instead, encryption and decryption are carried out using a combination of freely-available public keys and secure private keys. The whole process is automated and requires no specific intervention by the user, once the system is up and running.
