Cryptolog Unicity plug-in
Cryptolog Unicity plug-in is a client-side tool that provides the glue between the Cryptolog Unicity certificate and key storage server and various system applications.
Cryptolog Unicity plug-in makes use of ExaCard, Cryptolog's patented virtual smart card technology, acting as a software version of a smart card reader and allowing your users to encrypt and sign emails, authenticate connections to secure servers and digitally sign PDF documents.

Technical specifications
Cryptolog Unicity plug-in provides cryptographic services through two standard interfaces: PKCS#11 and CryptoAPI.
Two versions of Cryptolog Unicity plug-in are available.
| Cryptolog Unicity plug-in (Windows) | This version provides both PKCS#11 and CryptoAPI interfaces. CryptoAPI is a propietary standard created by Microsoft and is specific to the Windows platform. |
| Cryptolog Unicity plug-in (multi-platform) | This version provides a PKCS#11 interface only. It works on all recent UNIX/POSIX platforms, including Linux, Sun Solaris, FreeBSD and Mac OS X, and on any hardware supported by these systems. |
